Co jsou komunitní repozitáře

Komunitní repozitáře jsou repozitáře balíčků spravované uživateli. Uživatelé mohou překompilovat balíčky s odlišným nastavením, přidat vlastní balíčky a všechno zpřístupnit dalším uživatelům. Vydavatelé repozitářů jsou odpovědní za to jak je balíček kompilován a co je kompilováno.

Přidávání a používání komunitních repozitářů

Aby jste mohli používat komunitní repozitáře k instalování balíčků, musíte přidat jejich identifikační řetězec do

/etc/entropy/repositories.conf.d/<komunitní repozitář>

ID řetězce můžete najít v sekci repository information pod příslušným jménem repozitáře.

Dále synchronizujte repozitáře příkazem:

# equo update

Tento repozitář již není používán

For instance to add our internal testing repository string (Jenna Repository) you just need to add this line to your /etc/entropy/repositories.conf:

# repository|jenna|Sabayon Linux Bitch Repository|http://svn.sabayonlinux.org/entropy%7Chttp://svn.sabayonlinux.org/entropy#bz2

Usage

Once installed the packages will be available through Spritz and Equo and can be installed as though they were in the main repository. If an updated package is contained within a repository you will be notified by the Sabayon update applet.
