==Replace NetworkManager with Wicd==

First step is to install Wicd:

Update any config files:
{{Console|<pre class="clear"># equo conf update</pre>}}

Now we need to make Wicd start automatically at boot:
{{Console|<pre class="clear"># rc-update add wicd default</pre>}}

Now let's stop NetworkManager from being started automatically at boot:
{{Console|<pre class="clear"># rc-update del NetworkManager default</pre>}}

Now when you reboot, NetworkManager is gone and Wicd will be the default network manager. Configure it to your liking with the Wicd Network Manager found in your menu.
